Terry Kennedy - Founder / CEO
Terry gained a special understanding of the plight of the visually-impaired when he lost his vision at only 30 years old due to a rare eye disorder called Stargardts.
Terry's two brothers also suffered the devastating effects of this disease. Terry was able to regain his sight and return to the working world through the use of bi-optic glasses.
He created the Driving Forward Foundation with the mission of helping other visually-impaired people connect with the necessary resources and tools to improve their quality of life.

Linda Kennedy - Team Member
Linda Kennedy, born and raised in Arizona, has experience in a variety of areas, including teaching, writing, retail, and customer service phone support. Linda has a gift for bringing out new ideas and integrating them into expedient practice. Her hobbies are reading, crochet, and computers.
Leila Brenner- Team Member / Grant Writer
Leila is a mother of 2, a wife, a full time student, and a caring person who likes to help others. She was born and raised in Minnesota and came to Arizona in 2003. She found the Driving Forward Foundation by chance, and is happy to be a part of a wonderful team.
Leila keeps her "free" time busy with her children, husband, part-time job, pets, writing, academic pursuits, singing in choir, and helping others in any way she can!
Randy Shepherd - Board Member
Randy joined our team with a background in running his own business. Randy brings a wealth of knowledge to our team. He is currently awaiting a heart transplant but has selflessly expressed his desire to be on our board, and we welcome him with open arms.
